So how does one exactly get a date?

Like the title states, how does one exactly go about getting a date? I mean I'm not the ugliest person in the world, and I have an okay personality. Sure, who in this world doesn't have a lot of social anxiety, or gets freaked out meeting new people, and has to try hard in order to get continued conversations with people.
Someone who has a clue on how to get a date please comment below.

Until next time,
Peace.

Friends With Benefits.

So I am just going to vent about my friend (for the time being). First off, I have no problems with gay people or age differences, just going to put that out there.
So on with the story....

My best guy friend (once again for the time being) was in a relationship with a guy who was 11 years older, 19 year old, and a 30 year old. This was his first boyfriend that meant anything. They stayed together  like 6 months then broke up shortly after being tested (came back negative).
Fast forward to a month or two later, after saying he didn't love the guy and that he was single, he told me that he was friends with benefits with his ex, had been for some time, and still loved the guy.
I guess the worst thing about this was not that I feel that people should be committed if they love each other (I am a little old fashioned in that respect) but he lied to me the WHOLE time.
I don't know whether I should sever ties, after he lied for two months or try and mend the relationship?

Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated.

Until next time,
Peace.

How does one tell a friend that you had a dream about them?

First off, it's not like a sex dream or anything like that.
Secondly, (for all you who still stayed on reading this post past the first statement) he's my friend, not a particularly close friend, but still a friend that I have talked to before, so it was really weird to have a dream about him.
Thirdly, what was weird was the matter of the dream. It was a dream about me and him holding hands, and he was treating me as a girlfriend, which I haven't truly been treated like in a long time. (My first boyfriend didn't treat me as a person most of the time.) I guess this dream means that (like all single girls I have met) that I want a man to come along and cuddle, and be romantic, basically be a good boyfriend to me.
Fourthly, and lastly, this particular dream made me wonder if somewhere deep down I had feelings for the blonde haired blue eyed friend of mine who now lives far away in the snowy heights of Idaho. I can't quite figure out where these feelings would have come from, but he is nice so I guess there's that...
Anyways, as per usual if you want to comment that would be greatly appreciated :)
Until next time,
Peace.

Hey party people...

Yeah, I don't really talk like that ( at least I like to think I don't). Today's post comes to us from my most messed up part of my body - my brain-.
Let me explain this to you:
I was walking my puppy, as I do every day. (nothing unusual there) (my brain just inserted a clip of Carlton dancing in the show The Fresh Prince of Bel Air). Anyways, whilst we were walking, I noticed then she noticed a hawk above us in the sky. Being a 27 pound puppy that is afraid of nothing, she watched it, which I was not expecting. I instead, having this messed up mind of mine, started making up new words to "unfaithful" by Rihanna, such as "you better get out of that hawk's harmful way, because if you don't then she will come get you." (told you I was a little off, and sorry for the lack of rhyme)
Anyways, looking back on this, I feel like most normal people don't make up words to songs that have to do with their dogs possibly getting eaten by big birds, so here is my task to you mister/mr/miss/ms/mrs reader: do you make up words to songs that are already known? If so, you should message them in a comment. :)
Anyways going to bed now,
Until next time,
Peace.

Superbowl Sunday

So the Superbowl came and went. Four things stood out at this superbowl to me, and I shall list them.....

Here:

Number One: Straight off the bat, I wanted the Giants to win, not because I am from NY, or even that I know people from there, or at very least friends who support them, (one of my best friends supports the Patriots). I wanted them to win, because I like rooting for the underdog. From what it seems like, (in my very little knowledge of winning Superbowl teams.... be that football in general) the Giants had won less, and as a team seemed less cocky than the Patriots, so yay Giants!!

Number Two: The Superbowl commercials majorly sucked this year. I found very few of them funny. It's sad to say that even the Doritos one, which I thought was really funny last year, and the year before that, was just .... meh. I found myself thinking "Whoever is in charge of Doritos advertising fell flat on their face this year in comparison with previous years."

Number Three: I always have to pee right as the teams get close to halftime. Incidentally, this is also the time, when the teams are starting to make the most out of the half, so not wanting to miss anything, I hold it in for what seems like an eternity, so just make sure that I haven't missed the one tackle that has happened in the last 30 seconds, which leads me into my final point,

Number Four: Oh My Goodness, there is something about Madonna I don't like. Her music is okay, her dancing didn't impress me, I thought that there was no way she wasn't lip-synching, but my two main things about the half-time show were: Why does she feel like she has to be relevant by co-singing with LMFAO and Nicki Minaj, and why won't she stop dancing, so that I don't have to see her anymore? She is creepy looking.

Anyways, that was all my thoughts about the Superbowl, so until next time......

My birthday is over, so on with my 19 year old life...

I got some really cool stuff for my birthday.
(That's enough about my birthday)
So.... I have an exam today, (not really interesting, even more so when the fact is that the exam is a computer one)
Here's a fact about me: I love being able to use computers, but I really don't know the first thing about them like the ins and outs of one. I guess that's why I am taking a class on them.
In the midst of this, I am trying to take care of a now 20 pound puppy. :) She is cute, a pain, but cute.
Anyways, not much up today,
that's pretty much it. I may try to do a post less frequently so that I have more substantial things to say.
If there is anything you want me to talk about, send me a message.
Thanks people,
Bye.

January 29th

One more day left!!
(I apologize for the lack of a post yesterday. Shopping with my mom took over my whole day.)
As I stated above, yesterday was filled with shopping. However, that means that today I have to do all of my homework (yay me : ( )
Anyways, no-one really looked at my post two days ago. I have to say that surprised me, but maybe I have nothing interesting to say anymore.
Completely different conversation starts here: Any of you Office fans, I don't know if you have heard, but there have been rumors that the actor who plays Dwight Schrute, Rainn Wilson, may be doing a spinoff of the show, which would make him the main character. If you are like me, you are excited about the premise and I hope it becomes a good spinoff.
Speaking of spinoffs, unlike most people, I actually liked the spin off Joey. I thought it was funny, and I liked the characters in that show.
Here's my list of shows I would bring back if I had enough money (take note Firefly is not on this list, because I believe it belongs where it is now, in the t.v. graveyard):
(not in any specific order)
1. Joey
2. The Complete Savages
3. Better Off Ted
4. Arrested Development
5. Life on a Stick

6. Quintuplets, (and for all you Anglophiles out there,)
7. Vicar of Dibley (This was one that was popular when I lived in England, it has the hilarious Dawn French in it, as the village of Dibley's first female vicar. This premise sounds a little dull, but it is well worth watching.)
Now I must go and do homework,
If anyone wants to ask me any questions, just send me a comment.
Peace.
